Bread #06 (Strawberry Bread)

Yay!
Success again!
The whole house was filled with sweet smelling strawberries!
Ok, not that Mama used them.
We didn't have any egg left at home.
Thanks to Aunty Lynn 师傅,
she shared with Mama an eggless recipe.
Mama modified it and made us Strawberry Bread!
Can't wait to eat it in the morning!

Bread #05 (Mango Yoghurt Bread)

Mama stocked up lots of ingredients to
bake many flavours and many loaves of bread.
Papa loves mango.
She decided to bake Mango Yoghurt Bread today.
It didn't rise up as high as the previous loaves and Mama
is kind of sad.
Well, she told Papa they might have Mango Cake
tomorrow instead.
Anyway, Auntie Lynn 师傅 told Mama to modify the recipe a bit.
270g flour and 200ml liquid.
Mama will try again tomorrow!

Bread #04 (Gula Melaka Bread)

Mama made bread again.
I was very tired after 90 minutes of Gymboree today.
Papa was very tired after coaching for the whole day.
Papa and  I fell asleep together.
Mama decided to bake and sew.
Auntie Jiayi passed some Gula Melaka Syrup to Mama today.
After not baking for a few days,
(we have been very busy)
Mama was very worried that about not meeting the 80 loaves quota.
Auntie Germ is going fast and furious with her number of loaves!
Anyway, Mama thinks that she is an expert already.
She anyhow!
Really!
She anyhow decided on this bread and anyhow poured the ingredients in.
She didn't use the weighing scale or cups.
Oh, wait, she did.
She did use the cups.
The bread didn't rise as much as usual.
She was very very worried!
Auntie Joy reminded her that,
"Most important is the taste."
Mama didn't even allowed it to cool down.
She was sewing (a new top for me) when she dashed down to the
kitchen upon hearing the, "Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, etc!"
She cut it up immediately!
The GM bread is soft as usual but it just didn't rise as much and
it just didn't look as pretty as usual.
Something must be wrong.
Auntie Lynn, HELP!
The GM taste is not overwhelming and there is a tinge
of 發糕 taste.
Haha.
Huat ah!
The bread waiting game is over.
I guess she is not going to continue with the
sewing of my top.
Well, she does need to catch up on her sleep.
Papa and Mama is going to take me out later!
Good night!

Bread #03 (Milk Bread)

Mama made bread for breakfast tomorrow.
She followed the recipe from Bread #01 BUT this time round, she was lazier.
She didn't use the weighing scale.
She used her feeling for the ingredients.
Haha.
She took pretty much less than two minutes to pour everything in.
Ok, maybe three the most!
She did, however, remembered to adjust the setting to LIGHT AND 650G (smaller loaf).
The colour of the bread is much lighter than Bread #01.

Bread #02 (Chocolate bread)

The haze kept us in the house today.
Mama decided to make use of yesterday's recipe, modified it and bake Chocolate bread.
The bread is soft and fluffy.
The colour is very brown!
Mama thought it was burnt,
luckily it wasn't.
One thing though, the crust is harder and the top didn't rise as nicely as yesterday.
Overall, the taste is still good!
Yay! Success!

Bread #01 (Milk bread)

Auntie Lynn (Ang) has been inspiring and sharing lots of recipes.
Auntie Germ has been motivating in buying the breadmaker.
Therefore, Mama bought her first breadmaker from Tesco.
Mama says Tesco is a reputable supermarket chain originating from England so the products are good.
Yay. Papa and I and all at home will have homemade bread from now on.
Mama aims to bake at least 80 loaves.
1 done, another 79!
