Merry Hong Kong Christmas

Good way to end the holiday on a good Christmas trip to HK with dear dear :)

With dear planning the whole trip, all I had to do was pack :) and off we went!

Day 1:

Shopping @ Citygate.

Lantau to see Big Buddha.

Dinner with Laura and Uncle.

Day 2:

Trip to Shen Zhen.

Huat ah!

Day 3:

Trip to Wong Da Sin Temple.

Shopping at Aberdeen and Stanley.

Day 4:

Slacky day as we walked from YMT to Jordan to Admiralty to Central ...

Day 5:

Visit to Ten Thousand Buddha Temple.

Shopping at Central.

Day 6:

Peak.

Home Sweet Home!!!

HK is a yearly visit for many people.

Nothing special about the trip

BUT

it's who you go with that matters :)

Holiday - Day 34, 35 and 36(HK Edition)

Thu Day 34: We went to the harbour. Shopped around the area. Slacky day. Caught the lights show @ avenue of stars.

Fri Day 35: Visited 2 temples and mad shopping (dear dear! :D) at ladies market. Extremely tired by late noon (exhaustion?! Haha). Went back room to nap. Had hotpot xmas eve dinner/supper

Sat Day 36: Merry Xmas! Collected our No. 1 favourite purchase in HK :) Went to the peak and did more shopping at airport.

And now, Sun Day 37: we're back :) Home sweet home. Back to get ready for a good new great 2011. Huat ah!

Holiday - Day 33 (HK edition)

Wakey early to go to wong tai xian temple.

Had coffee break @ ifc.

Shopped @ prada outlet.

Watched sunset @ stanley market. Ate delifrance.

Took a bus back to admiralty and ate kfc. Haha. We're trying to eat all the fast food ion HK.

Rested a bit @ hotel before we went for a fantastic massage. Dear and I love it! Ate junk @ temple street.

Shall sleep till 自然醒 tomorrow!

Holiday 31 and 32 (HK Edition)

So far, both days r super tiring!

Mon: due to the fact that we did not sleep fr Sun to Mon and we hopped onto the flight. We were dead tired last night!

Spent half a day shopping @ Citygate and half a day @ the big buddha. Spent the night pigging out with Laura and Uncle.

Tue: wakey early. Had breakfast provided by hotel. Dun understand why reviews not fab about this hotel. It's good and super value for money.

1. Breakfast is not super fantastic but very good and filling. Toasted bread. Porridge. Noodles. Eggs. Hotdogs. Ham. Cereal. Fruits. Juice. Milk. Coffee. Tea.

2. Great and speedy wifi!

3. Big room (rare in HK)

4. Convenient location (Yau Ma Tei)

Went to shenzhen after food. Whole day was sourcing for best value for batteries. New video (by my beloved 男主角 teacher jerry) of new backup battery products FOR ALL MODELS of mobile phone will be up!

Ate lots by roadside.
WALK LOTS. And I mean LOTS.

Took First Class MTR. Shiokl!

Just stocked up on beer, food, snacks. Gona shower after dear shower. Deadbeat!

Holiday - Day 31 to 36 (HK Edition)

We didn't dare to sleep in case we meet the flight. I was also super hungry. Decided to leave the house super early to eat!









Overate and I'm suffering from lack of oxygen in the brain now. Especially sleepy. Of course also because it's 0330 now.

Can't wait to eat and shop in HK!

Holiday - Day 30

Sent mummy and papa to golden mile on saturday to take the coach to genting. Huat ah! Hope they win more. We had dinner @ the food centre. Yummy claypot rice.

Met bern for coffee and shopping today. Had a great time. But I reserved my power to later - HK!

Norin and jr gave dear and I the ideal gifts. Like cher, she gave us lugguage tags! I was eyeing that!

Can't wait to reach HK. Already arranged to meet laura and tt @ their hotel @ 2030 and ash on wed.

HK! Here we come! Leaving for airport soon! Heh.

Holiday - Day 27, 28 & 29

Time passes by on a rocket ...

Extremely fast ...

But well, that's life isn't it, which is why, we should make good use of time!

Thu: Had Sakura buffet with dear and his fellow coaches ...

With a full and happy BFT (Big Fat Tummy), I left earlier to school for track & field.

Training ended slightly earlier due to the unexpected (yes, unexpected despite the expected. the sun was SCORCHING).

Went home to rest before dear came to bedok and off to ECP for our 60 minutes walk (attempt to burn the fats) and 60 minutes shopping (parkway :p)

Fri: Busy busy day ... Swam @ YCK ... Walked to AMK for postal services ... Ate @ Chong Pang ... Napped @ Wellington Circle ... Haha ...

And ... Met my dear friends at Wisma ...

Holiday - Day 26 (PIG OUT)

Been having a stiff neck since yesterday. Today still hurts slightly. Decided to just swim 14 laps. Had a slacky morning. Chill. Did some worksheets. Helped dear with some admin.

Started running all ard after 1600. Haha. Went to people's park centre to exchange currency for HK/China trip. Collected my bottega bracelet from gasthon :D Had dinner at paragon ding tai feng. Shopped a bit. Popped over to Novena and shopped more. Haha. Or rather, eat more!















Continued shopping for snacks despite full stomach. Haaaa.

A lot of time, we have people around us, family, friends, acquaintances, blah blah blah, who help, support, motivate and encourage us. Thanks to them, we get better and we get stronger :) Love you all.
 
As the year comes to an end, we had our fair share of yucky issues, freaky people, lovely people, fabulous moments. God is always fair and everything happens for a reason :)

Marina Bay Sands on National day 2011

The other day, mummy was talking about the infinity pool at mbs and so I thought we shall have a combined birthday (mum's on 11/8 and mine's 12/8) celebration next year, 2011.

But the price on National Day is scary.

Shall consider alternative dates.

Prior to this, I was thinking of planning / having a big 3-0 birthday bash for myself.

BUT BUT BUT ...

I have decided not to have the big birthday bash.

This is in-line with my motto  for JS Plan 2013 to SAVE MONEY $$$

And yes, so, no bash :) but the celebration with mummy is still on.

Also, dear friends :)

please do not buy me birthday presents next  year.

PLEASE.

Red packets are very much appreciated :)

Holiday - Day 24 & 25

Filled with activities for the past few days.






Lunch at home with family on Sun.






Met Cher and Ash to shop at Raffles City and Citylink.






Had dinner with dear and family.






Dropped by JB for brunch and shopping on Monday. Had body treatment session with marj back at siglap. And dinner with our guys.

Today, swam in the morning. Track in the afternoon.
Shopped at bugis in the evening.
Packed HK luggage at night.

Tiredz.
Gonna slack.

Holiday - Day 22 & 23

Sat:

Woke up and attempted to wear my new lense. Stinging feeling. Ultimately, was fine. Phew.

Sent dear to pool and visited Kimmy and Baby Isaac. Finally. Everytime I arrange to visit something will crop up either side. And so I told Kimmy that we'll do it last min style. Finally got to visit!

Had breakfast with papa. Slacked a bit. Had lunch with dear and bumped into Ter and Goh. Did my record breaking laps swimming :p I did 30 laps! But was super tired after that. Napped from day to night. Haha.

Had healthy fish soup dinner. Was still feeling tired. Didn't even complete writing my batch 2 of Xmas cards. Slept 11ish. Heh.

Sun:

Set the alarm at 0650 planning to go for breakfast but was too tired and decided to sleep in till 0720. Reach the pool at 8 and decided to just swim 10 laps.




Time to read mag and tan. Love it. Shall spend time clearing my rubbish again later. Rather, tidying my room. Haaaa

Holiday - Day 20 & 21

Times pass faster than the speed of light! Before anything, it's 21days pass our holidays. Of course including the carnival, workweek and first aid course. Next week, I've 2 days of track as well.

Had great moments catching up with friends over the past week.









Had lunch at Royal Copenhagen with Chrissy and Carol.



I don't know why my left eyelid was swollen in the morning. Couldn't swim with Marj and Jan. Couldn't visit Kimmy. Finally it got better after noon. Must not risk it. Wore specky out.






Had lunch at Ion's Canton-i. Yummy porky.

Since I can't swim. Decided to head down to AMK hub for ME time. Manicure and pedicure. Coffee. And had a little chat with Lihui at coffeebean.






Yummy dinner at Kovan's HK cafe. Shall end the night watching old movie - Xin Dong.
