Ollie's Learning Journey - Desaru Fruit Farm (Sep 9)

Our initial plan was to go to the Ostrich Farm, 

but the owner told us,

"我们只剩一只ostrich."

(Only one ostrich remains.)

Papa decided to do the fruit farm tour as well.

Mama said that I could explore smell and texture while 

she could plan worksheets for my future Science lesson.

I had a lot of fun!

Papa and Mama said, "What can be better than having

a Science lesson right out there!"

I even climbed a tree.

Ok, I mean, Papa put me on a tree!

I tried not to pluck the leaves and fruits.

I did not want Papa and Mama to be scolded.

It was a fun trip!

Blessed August 2015

This is the first year I celebrated Mama's birthday with her. (last year's wasn't counted, all I did was kick her in the womb) Mama is so blessed with so many friends. Celebrations after celebrations. Shopping trips after shopping trips. Mama is very thankful that she has so many sweet and supportive friends. Papa also contributed all the time. He even tried to give Mama a surprise staycation. Haha. Papa is the best. Happy Birthday 2015, Mama.

Jess, Ollie & Scarlett's Penang - Aug 31

It was a scorching hot day. The driver took us to a place selling famous char kway tiao (again!)  but Mama finds it so so only... Papa was in love with the buah pala drink but not Mama. We went to the Peranankan Museum and a temple. We also went to buy some local products. We had a short break at the mall but Mama was too tired to walk... We went to Batu Ferringhi for some shopping (blah, it's like shopping at Patpong in Thailand)  and then dinner (surprisingly, it was good!). It was home sweet home the next day... Can't wait for the next trip! 

Jess, Ollie & Scarlett's Penang Trip - Aug 30

Usually,  I didn't have time to take photo before I quickly eat my food (or let Laogong eats his food while I carry Ollie). Ate yummy breakfast at the coffeeshop near to our hotel and we started the day! Tried to find the street art but only found a few. They were actually all over (and not near!). Dinner was fantastic! Love the suckling pig! And Ollie was a very good girl to let me finish the foot reflexology! 

Jess, Ollie & Scarlett's Penang Trip - Aug 29

For everyone's safety, our plan to Bangkok was replaced with a trip to Penang. It was great fun with great travel company (very important). The company sort of made the trip even better. With 7 adults and 3 babies, arranged transportation is very important. Taxis didn't seem to be found easily. We had the record number of plates of char kway tiao... I lost count! To cut the story short, haha, on the first day, we went to a Snake Temple , the Guanyin Temple , Penang Hill and yummy seafood near the Tua Pek Kong Temple.
