Lunch @ Home

The nth time our family gathers.
That is what I love about CNY.
Tiring, yes, very.
But I love it.
Uncle and Aunties helped Mummy and Papa with the final preparations for 擂茶.
In fact, Mummy and Papa already started last night.

Lei cha (擂茶; léi chá; literally "pounded tea") is a Hakka tea-based beverage or gruel consisting of a mix of tea leaves that are ground or pounded together with various roasted nuts, seeds, and grains. The tea is drunk for breakfast or on cold winters as a tasty and healthy restorative. Lei cha is very popular in Taiwan, Southern China, Malaysia as well as any locations with a large population of Hakka people
Lei cha is traditionally a savory drink, however now it is usually consumed sweet.

If you know me well enough, you will know that this is a lunch I will definitely skip.
I survived on 5 fried mid-wings and 1 coffee.
Fat Rat Bro left for work without eating too.
Well, this is really not our kind of lunch!
Happy Mummy.
She love her 擂茶!
And my cute Penguin Papa, who have been helping Mummy all the time!
My nephews.
Time flies!
It used to be tonnes of cousins.
Now, all the little ones are nephews and nieces.
(only the following picture is taken using my Blackberry)
Mummy and my aunties.
Short of many people today.
Less crowded than the usual.
I'm glad it is Monday tomorrow.
And hopeful of it too.
Blogging is theraputic like I always say.
And taking pictures of course :)
