You Know A Shopaholic When You See One

Ollie totally refused to let me carry the paper bag.
She insisted on carrying it!
She is absolutely proud of her shopping loot.
Again, refused to let me carry the shopping basket!
Had tea/coffee while waiting to collect things,
look at how lovey-dovey the Papa is with his
precious daughter.

Random Musings

So, we had dinner with 老公的教练 (aka 师公) last night and he suggested to let Ollie wear the goggles at home occasionally to let her get used to it. #trainingofachampion
She didn't really fancy it (yet) and removed it in 2 minutes. Maybe also because she was feeling uncomfortable from her cough and flu (again! Sigh.) Not to worry, the champion is still active and playing (whole day long).
In at attempt to be healthier (minus the youtiao), I cooked breakfast and lunch for us ...
Only to ...

End up buying the super red burger for dinner!
So much for trying to be healthy!

Well, at least I tried!
Get well soon, Ollie!

ME TIME!!!

Very thankful for the ME TIME today!
I had a complete (almost) off day from
mama-duties!
Unpacking the wipes, diaper, sanitiser and cream.

Lunch at Sakuraya Fish Mart.

Dinner at Waterfront Copthorne.

I missed you all!
Thank you, laogong!

Came home and put Ollie to bed.
Laogong fell asleep as well.
They had so much fun I'm sure.
Haha.

Happy Day!

Your Happiness Matters Most

After settling the situation over the weekend, we finally rested
and is able to have the peace of mind today. Back home and
devoted all our time to Ollie. As I scrolled through the photos,
I look at Ollie, I look at her sleeping on the bed, she is growing
up way too fast! Slow down, please!

We visited the Eco Spring Village and spent about ten minutes
there. Thanks to the generous developer, haha, we had good
photos taken at the place. Previously at the windmills
exhibition too.

Ollie watched her first movie and shared our large popcorn
bucket. It all started with the papa feeding her, and well, it
progressed on to her helping herself to it. Even when she latched
for awhile in the middle of the movie, she was trying to reach
out for the popcorn with her hand!

She ordered Shrimp Wanton Noodles. I'm sure she is missing
her BFF in HK and she wants to eat the same kind of food!

The papa swam with her in the evening before she heads off
to the playground to play with the kids.

Dear Olympia, grow up happily and healthily please.
(good things seem to begin with the letter H, haha)
Jokes aside, life is too short to be unhappy.
We try our best to give you the best.
Live to the best that you can, to be happy and healthy.
Happiness and Health are priceless.

Shoo, Fever, Shoo!

Battling fever is not fun. On Thursday morning, 3am, Ollie suddenly woke up to latch. I felt her body and it was warm, no, it was hot! I took her temperature and it was 38.8! She latched many times between 3am to 8am. Decided to feed her paracetamol and luckily all was well then.

All was well through the day but there was a fever spike at 8pm again. I'm the high-needs-kan-chong-spider mama. I was so worried. At 10pm when I took the temperature again, it was 37.7. We decided not to feed paracetamol again. (We're in the camp of letting me know the body fight the fever on its own, unless it goes beyond 38. Fever after all is a good indication of the immune system functioning to fight off infection. Disclaimer: NOT DISCUSSING ANYTHING pertaining to this topic. No judging.) Took Ollie's temperature through the night till about 3am this morning and I concussed, the temperature was between (vaguely remember) 37.3 to 37.7/8. This morning, the temperature range went below 37! Yeah! We did it! Ollie did it!

Still, the kan-chong-spider me don't dare to let loose. Will still monitor through the day and tonight. I hope it is nothing but just because the molars are all coming out. Truly a molar-explosion! Fever always scares me, especially when Ollie had dengue fever before! Praying hard that all will fine and there is no fever spike again tonight.

Since it's a stay-home-to-rest (play) kind of day, we shall still play dress-up!
I'm so tired but thankful that Laogong took over Ollie for an hour earlier on to let me have a massage.
