Short Trip to Bangkok

Hello to our 3rd home again!
Barely three months and we're back!
Ollie is a rather seasoned traveller and she is
always so at ease at the airport!
Shops her way around!
Didn't manage to have dinner with Nui in BKK but
at least we had breakfast together at the airport!
It was very hot in BKK and we didn't join
Laogong for his lessons at the pool.
Ollie and I gallivanted around in the air-conditioned malls!
When Laogong joined us, he and Ollie had so much fun at the
indoor (free) playground.
Central World is always out favouite mall.
It has everything Ollie likes.
MK. Large toy department. Indoor play areas.
Laogong always love the cruise dinner and so,
he had to take Ollie there for dinner!
And we love this particular cruise because it is catered
more for the Thais.
Yes, we don't really fancy the touristy type.
Ollie enjoyed herself, I'm sure!
Clapping to the live band singing Thai ballads,
enjoying the food,
feeling the cool wind,
everything!
Looking forward to going back to our 3rd home soon,
and of course to the HK trip next week!

Hello Kitty @ ONE KM

Last Thursday, Ollie & Scarlett had their BFF date at ONE KM,
together with Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters!
They had so much fun dancing to the music.
It's interesting (and amazing) to see how fast
they are growing.
Last year, when we went to the Mickey & Minnie show,
all they did were sit on our laps.
This time round, they got up on their own,
clapped their hands and danced along.
As usual, we dressed them up in twinnies attire.
The mummies decided to dress up in same colours as well!
And we spotted Shela dressed in mother-daughter outfits
with Kella and Deon as well!
It is so much fun to have a friend with a daughter
so close to the age of my own daughter.
Always a fun day to with our party-of-4!

TGIF Session 3

Finally we've the full attendance for our monthly date! Previously, Cutie & I (& Ollie) the met Cher for dinner one day and another with Maybel because of some schedule clash. Was putting up the collage when I tried to recall why were we the Devilz, but I really can't remember. What did we do more than ten years ago? I know we went to Boat Quay often (Haha, 往事智能回味) but we didn't create much of a trouble (noise maybe, very loud). Always happy moments with the Devilz family, no matter how little we see each other due to our own commitments.

TGIF Session 2

Finally it's the school holidays and Winnie can meet us. No matter how short the time, it's always good to catch up with old friends and the young kids! It was so fun to see the two kids interact with each other. Hopefully we don't have to wait till June before the next meet up!

TGIF Session 1

Started the day with Ollie waking us up because she poo-ed. Haha. Best way to wake up because it means that I won't have to clear her poo when we head to town later! After lazing in bed some more till about 10, we headed out for breakfast -our favorite chicken rice in the Taman nearby. Sent the car to the car wash and we had tea and cake at the cafe nearby. Great start before the next two sessions of TGIF today. And now, Ollie is napping, me time and bath time! Happy happy day ahead I'm sure!

Road Trip to KL - Genting

It was a much needed respite from the heat
to drive on to Genting after Laogong's lessons in KL.
It was totally panas-maximus in SG and JB.
Genting was so cooling!
The usual road trip but with Papa joining us this time round.
In KL, we also met Maira and family for lunch.
It was a joy to be at their lovely house!
They were very hospitable too!
The entire time, Ollie and I were eating and eating (or sleeping).
She had a good time with all the very economical rides too!
Past few times, she didn't mange to meet the minium
height requirement.
I hope she will have fun in HK DisneyLand end of the month.
Ollie is very much a seasoned traveller in her car seat
and I am very happy!
We can go everywhere again!

Wonderful Day

It's a blessing to wake up to such lovely sights every morning. And yes, laogong's reservist is done this round! Can't wait for all the plans we have for this month. Always exciting and blissful to be with Ollie, watching her and learning new things with her. Happy weekend, everyone!

Missing Family Time

With laogong serving the nation (reservist) the this week, we are so missing our LTT (Liam Ti Ti 粘体体) family time! Blessed we are to actually have a lot of family time usually, so this few days are really very much unlike our usual days. Finally tomorrow is the last day and, yay! Time to LTT as a family again!

Ollie is 15 Months Young

Time flies way too fast.
Happy 15 Months Young, my precious child.
You've given us so much for the past 15 months.
I hope and pray you will be a nice and kind person and will not be taken advantage of.
I hope and pray you will always be happy and healthy.
Soar high with your dreams.
Dare to dream.
Dream big.
These are Mama's favorite words from Mark Twain -
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Ollie's Travelogue 2015

With Ollie holding a Singapore Citizenship, her first overseas experience should be considered in Jan 2015. On the first day of 2015, she came back to our Malaysia home. That was her very first trip out of Singapore, not on the plane though. The travelling to and fro is no big deal for her since then.

March 2015
Thailand - Bangkok
It was Ollie's first flight! She was almost four months, but not yet. I cannot quite believe that I can't find a post about the trip. Why didn't I blog?

May 2015
Thailand - Bangkok
Yes, her second flight was to Bangkok again. Friends will know that we are usually in Thailand for a total of about 1 - 1.5 months in a year. It's like our third home. Planned for this trip because Laogong had to attend a swim conference in Bangkok. In fact, I took the flight to Bangkok with Ollie on my own. This trip was also shorten because of Mummy's passing.

June 2015
Malaysia - Genting
We took a drive up to Genting. Ollie's first road trip. Called Papa along and he joined us for this short trip. Ollie is a warrior. Hehe, she is almost a seasoned traveler already.

July 2015
Malaysia - Genting
We decided to head back to Genting, this time round, with a photoshoot for Ollie in mind. And yes, we bought a lot of photos!

August 2015
Malaysia - Melaka
This was supposed to be a surprise birthday trip for me. As you can see, Ollie enjoyed herself immensely and she sure played a lot!

August / September 2015
Malaysia - Penang
Three families took our first trip together. Ollie's first time to Penang, and with Jess Jess and Scarlett! We had loads of fun (and char kway tiao - every meal!). We couldn't go to Bangkok because of the bombing incident.

September2015
Malaysia - Desaru
This was another road trip. Zoo? Too mainstream. The ostrich farm is more fun! The focus of the day however, was at the fruit farm instead.

October 2015
Thailand - Bangkok
This trip was to replace the one we didn't manage to go with our friends. We made a trip on our own and well, what else but making merit, eating and shopping. By this trip, Ollie is almost a Thai already! Haha.

November 2015
Malaysia - Batu Pahat
We had wanted to visit JY and J but both 老板s were not free! We went shopping instead!

November 2015
Malaysia - Johor Bahru
Ollie's first time with the swim team!

December 2015
Thailand - Chiang Mai
We spent eight days in Chiang Mai. Had many first experiences. Did some voluntary work too.

December 2015
Thailand - Bangkok
We then spent seven days in Bangkok. Make merit. Slack. Eat. Shop. Play. Party. Catch up with friends. Concluded the year, no wait, we didn't, we went home on the 30th.

Ollie's travelogue 2015 concluded in Thailand. We want to bring her around the world to experience the different cultures and experience the different lives. We also want her to know that what we have must not be taken for granted. She must see for herself, life is totally not the same outside her circle. She must also learn and experience giving back to the society - something we believe in strongly.

Dear Mummy, thank you for giving Boy and me the best in life, together with Papa. You are the best mother and I want to be the best for Ollie too.

Dear Ollie, I know we spoil you but yes, we will continue doing so. You deserve the best but always always remember, do your best, be positive, be kind, be street-smart and return to the society. Be thankful.
