Day 2 & 3 With Moomoo ... And more ...

After a good swim, Laogong and I headed to Yishun 925 for the ever yummy kway chap.

All these and 3 bowls of kway for only $10.

Stopped eating at Bugis and Parkway Food Court's Yukee because it is so expensive and smelly (environment).

Yes, I know, I love cafe and restaurants but I don't mind the hawker and coffeeshops before 12noon (when the mad lunch crowd comes in)!

So when I eat hawker and coffeeshop food, I expect those kind of prices too.

Not cafe/restaurants prices.

Anyway, whatever :)

Been a while since I swim and I've already charged my MP3 player.
Haha. Hopefully I can do 20 laps for a start.

Happy 3rd Month Anniversary

Woke up late in the morning. Supposed to wake up at 0800, ended up I only got up at 0845. Did my 3 minutes wash up regime and got it of the house in 5 minutes.

Was still sleepy-eyed and decided to take pic of just my cute Laogong. Haha. He was dressed up because we were going to attend a short talk at NYP.

Decided to change into school shoes in the car. Haha. Yes. School shoes. This pair and the other bling pair were my school shoes when I was still teaching in school. They have straps and are flat. Fit the "rule" and fit the comfort standard. Maybe also because 损友 told me she wore it out and thus 'inspired' me to wear it too. Nostalgia. Loving my woc more now. I realized that I can stuff more things inside! :p My 2 phones. Backup charger. Lip gloss. Keys. Not bad! :p

Reached NYP at around 0910. Had two siew mai to line the stomach. Haha.

Left for lunch around 1200. Nice. Good crowd. Wasn't too noisy. Wasn't too crowded. Well, this wasn't a planned lunch. Wanted to go ICA to collect my passport but realized I didn't make an appointment and I didn't want to spend too much time waiting. Decided to have lunch at Waterfront then.

Laogong is glad, extremely glad that the app on his iPad is finally working! Haha. And I shall now slack over my coffee and a new book!

After yummy lunch, we headed for a test drive. Love it! Super love it!

Headed to Malaysia after that for our weekly shopping. Quick one. Out within 3 hours.

Satisfying Sunday ...

Time with kids is always well spent :) Could sense their reluctance to return to school. Anyone, kids or teachers felt the same I'm sure :) I pray that all kids and my friends teaching in school will have a good term ahead :)

After lessons, gave a lift to Belinda and her Ah Mah to the train station. Ever Ah Mah is really nice. Accompanies her at the pool at 11am. Accompanies her for classes from 4pm to 715pm. She doesn't read. She doesn't listen to mp3s. She doesn't play with her iphone. Such greatness of a grandmother. Reminds me of ah Mah.

Headed back to Bedok for dinner with parents and boy. Yumz. Homecooked food is the best. Love.

Slacked at Bedok till 10pm. Drove back to Sembawang and Laogong was happy to see Moomoo.

Not sure of MIL will allow us to keep it but we shall enjoy her company for now :)

Time to start work!

After Laogong's busy morning session, he is resting and getting ready for the afternoon session. I shall get working too! Can't wait to see my kids! :)

Blissful Sunday Morning

Woke up early, rather earlier than usual today. Laogong, JR and I headed to eat The Fav Horfun. Yummy yummy. Tabao breky for papa and mummy as well. Boy was off to work by the time I got home.

Big portion of beehoon. Mummy shared with papa.

Slacking now. Enjoying the coffee papa made me. Do a bit of marking. Watch Doraemon. Nice. Will leave house at 1145 to bring lunch to Laogong after papa buys it back. Great beginning to an even better Sunday. Coming back tonight for dinner :)

Headed home to home-cooked food by MIL after a long day for Laogong :)

Weekend @ ECP Brussels Sprouts

Cabbed down to Ikea to meet Jan. Thanks for the lift, Jan and Shan!

Yummy mussels as usual! Ordered 4 different ones today! Vin Blanc. Tom Yam. Brussels Special and another cream one. Yumz to the max! Basket loads of fries as well! The wings were good too! Of course, the beers are yummy too!

There was a magician entertaining the customers.

Thanks Marjie for getting the color for me. Love it! Red! Made Jan paint it on the sporty do her nails! Hee.

Headed to Marjie's place to slack after that. Hot and hot and hot from Seng Kang to ECP ... Finally a cooling place! :p Great weekend! Can't wait to see my kids again tomorrow :)

Super Sunny Saturday

Jumped out of bed and headed to Super Sunny Sengkang/Anchorvale Pool. Bought coffee for myself and ice milo and hashbrowns for Laogong. Last 5th week holiday for myself this month. Shall enjoy basking under the sun, read my book and sip my ice latte. I think I'm the only one under the sun @ the pool. All the other parents are hiding in shade. Maybe because they do it weekly and I'm here like once in a blue moon!

Am meeting Daze, Jan and Marj later & ECP Brussels and Sprouts. Yummyz. Mussels and Beer!

Lazy Thursday ...

Lessons as usual with Taby in the morning. Had lunch with Laogong and Patrick @ Siglap. Chatted a bit before heading off to TLT for Laogong'a lesson. Today is my free day. 5th week coinciding with school holidays. I'm back to the "old me". Tagging along for lessons. After Chloe's lesson, I was sleepy and dozed off.

Nice place. The pool is nice. Hopefully when Estuary or Vibes is ready, the poolside will be so nice also! Like the partially submerged deck chairs. Remind me of my favorite MBS.

Don't think we will be heading there for any staycation this year. Enough after the past two years. Sunny Sunny day. Hydrate!!!!
