MIL boiled black chicken soup for us. Yumz. Shall head to bed early :)

Exceptionally Blessed!

I'm so blessed to have such nice parents from the centre. They always bring me food! Noah brought me the yummy fried beehoon with potent chilli from Teresa. After lunch, Valerie brought me lupis from Elyne.

Went to visit baby after class. Kylie look so much like Kyan!

Of course, I must take pictures of Kyan too!

Once-a-month ...

Haha. Yes yes, I've a lot of once-a-month lunch/dinner dates. The longest running one has got to be the PEFX' meet-ups. Been about 3 years or was it more?

Recap the day's events ... Went for my first class in the morning. Due to Flub's constant craving for laksa this week, it got onto me! Took the ECP instead of CTE/PIE back to the east, tabao laksa! Jan was the lucky one! Replied to my bbm. Managed to tabao for her to share with pln. Went back to Bedok and shared my laksa with papa.

The whole 90 minutes back home, we were chatting about BKK. He just got back and he totally enjoyed it! We're going again in May!

Left and went for my classes. Ended all classes at 1915.

Met my PEFX clique @ our HQ. Haha. Yes, almost our HQ. The Jap place we been to for the most number of times. Just like Devilz is @ Lenas and previously, 38z is @ some steamboat place. With Chris and Carol @ Sakuraya or Buffet Town.

Kept to my Lent promise and actually lifetime promise, no more foie gras. Haha. Didn't watch Fio eat :p Well, she tempted me with FG and I tempted her with beer. Fair!

Went to get sushi @ Isetan for Laogong. Passed by M&S and bought tea and chocolates for kids! Easter soon!

Shall rest early and well, I'm seeing my new god-daughter tomorrow! Princess Kylie! :) Godma can't wait to see you!

After a long day, I reached home to find a humongous pot of rice waiting for me. Gosh. 老公以为他在喂猪!

太爱我了吧! So much food! Couldn't finish it. And he still ...

Had our classes in the morning. I popped by mummy's shop to slack a bit. Met Laogong for lunch @ ECP Carl's Jr. Going to slack here for a while. Read a bit.

Long and satisfying day ...

Started the day with admin work at the centre after sending Laogong to the pool. Productive time :) Tidied up the place after. Pick up Laogong after his lesson and we had breakfast at The Prata Place.

Time flies past after that. Came back home to rest. Watched Cake Boss :D slacked a bit and Laogong sent me to the centre for my first lesson. One lesson after another. Suddenly, it was already 2100! Had dinner super late. Was thinking about hor fun all the time :p Val inspired me. Haha. Fed Ginger Snaps and Scaredy Cat. Now, shall read a bit. Kind of tired but happy with the classes' process today :)

Extremely warm Tuesday

Lunch was yummy at LFNK but their portion seems to have grown bigger! Way bigger! We couldn't finish the food. Brought the leftovers home.

Tried to read but the heat was battling with my head. Dozed off reading. Think after 20 or 30 minutes, got up and started reading again. This time round, the head feels lighter after a cup of tea.

I shall get an ice coffee before I head to class and maybe a cold great for my kid too.

Favourites from The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari ...

The book was a very good read, together with the other book, the secret letters.

There are many good parts, points or sayings but these are my favourites :) Finished the book quite a while ago, but only decided to blog abt this now. Passed the book to Snr already ... Told her to pass it to another friend. Good things must be shared right :)

(1) ... Julian poured (tea) until the cup was full - but he kept on pouring ... "Julian, what are you doing? My cups if overflowing. No matter how hard you try, no more will go in! ... "Just like this cup, you seem to be full of your own ideas. And how can any more go in ... UNTIL you first empty your cup right?"

(2) No matter what happens to you in your life, you alone have the capacity to choose your response to it. When you form the habit of searching for the positive in every circumstances, your life will move to its highest dimensions.

(3) There are no mistakes in life, only lessons. There is no such thing as a negative experiece, only opportunities to grow, learn and advance along the road of self-mastery. From struggle comes strength.

(4) Never do anything because you've to. Do it because you want to and because you know it is the right thing for you to do.

(5) The only limits on your life are those you set yourself. When you dare to get out of your circle of comfort and explore the unknown, you start to liberate your true human potential.

(6) It is not what you'll get out of books that is so enriching - it is what the books will get out of you that ultimately change your life... Books do not teach you anything new. Books simply help you to see what is already within yourself.

I was dead tired yesterday.
I really don't know why!
Think I fell asleep at 2100+.
Woke up at 0247 to see Laogong, JR and MIL still in the living room playing with iPAd and watch Nat Geo ...
I headed back to bed.
I woke up again at 0447 to see Laogong still playing with his (their - JR and his) new favourite game ...
Of course, I headed back to bed again! :p
Woke up at 0900+ after 12 hours of sleep.
NICE :)



Went off to JB for our Monday date.
Shopped a bit.
Ate alot :p
Cried a bit ...
No, Cried a lot ...
Very nice show ...
Must watch! The Vow.

Back home to slack and catch up on reading.
Should be going to watch The Lady.

Great start to a whole new week.

Also, congrats to all those who has gotten their promotion!
To those who didn't, don't be too upset, especially with so many cannot-make-it key personnels,
(fighting against the few who can), who are they to judge you and grade you :)
Life goes on ...
Remember, the girls and your friends are the ones who keep you going.
I remember how upset I was when I didn't get my 2nd promotion together with my batch mates.
And I mean SUPER upset - knowing what I did, how much I did and what I can do.
(I know, some of you out there may be thinking I'm over-confident or too arrogant, well, whatever you think :))
Thinking back, I know, I will still be upset but at least learning from it,
I've learnt what I need to :)
School is ONLY about the girls (ok, kids) and the friends,
so what if there are backstabbers, so what if the P and the VP cannot-make-it,
so what if the HODS are earning SEO pay and doing GEO work.
Life, School, Passion - dont't let it be about them :)

Saturday's happenings ...

Since the 4pm class wasn't due to begin, decided to meet Black. Our timing clashes and we missed each other a few times. Finally! Today! BUT gosh, her presents are in the car! Never mind! Next time! Haha. I will not use them!

It wasn't a liquid date. Haha. I was just too hungry and forgot to shoot a picture or pictures of food!

Bought something for Kylie to welcome her! Can't wait to see her. 加油 baby! Princess Kylie will be good!

Nothing to buy. BUT when I walk past the CD place, bought Corrinne May's new CD. Missed her singing last night, but this CD makes up for it. Couldn't get Kewei's one, decided to order online later.

(random: I realized when I typed 加油 just now, a petrol kiosk is one of the option! Gosh. Technology is good! Haha. See photo below.)

Had dinner with Laogong, JR and Norin @ Sembawang Shopping Centre's Ajisen. I suggested no using of mobile phones during dinner. Haha. Success!

As usual, the alarm rang at 0600 - 0630 - 0640 - 0645 ...

Laogong and I decided that we shall snooze longer and not go for our breakfast ...

Left house at about 0710 and it was about 5-10 minutes earlier than usual.

I had the the time to get a meal to share with Laogong from the drive-thru.

Had my yummy breakfast.

Prepared my day's lessons.

Thought of how to make today's lesson more fun.

Thought of how to effectively inculcate a game each into the different lessons.

0832. 

All done.

I shall prepare tomorrow's lesson too!

Classes end at 1530 today.

I shall stay for an hour to clear up some admin work and tidy the place up.

I can go home, do some marking, clear the room, tidy up stuff a bit before picking Laogong up from the pool at 2000.

Devils & 38z Gathering ...

The long awaited March meet-up but too had Val wasn't well and Dia was busy.

We're always hungry at Lenas! Well, thirsty too :p

Always nice catching up :) on the way there, I was driving and thinking, we've all come a long way. Except that I know Cher and 38s sometime in 2004, Belle and Cutie were from even further back in time. Happy that we are all blissfully married (or going to be) and all are doing very well :)

Chatted till they chased us out! Haha.

Reached home, was happy to see that I've mail! My mobile charm connector is here!

I broke my Tiff chain and thus decided to use the pendant as a mobile charm as it totally matches my new cover! Perfect match!

Shall rest early and Laogong and I shall attempt to wake up at 0600 for breakfast! Long weekend for us - LONG working hours! More so for Laogong! Jiayou!

TGIF ..

Woke up with a shock this morning. Laogong shocked me and asked me to read something from an immature female homosapien. Totally shocking as whatever she has written is actually liable for defamation. Like what Jan said, laugh it off and forget about it. It simply displayed her immaturity and guilt. Still, we shall TGIF and have a good day like everyday :) Life, is simply wonderful :)

Shopped at Parkway with Chris and Ayden yesterday. Did our nails too. Haha. No, no, Ayden did not do his nails.

After shopping and nails, went off to centre for classes. Happy to see my kids happy :D After classes, super hungry me went home for dinner. All I had was popcorn chicken that Chris bought for me during nails! Went to Giant after dinner with Laogong and in-laws. Again, we stock up our printing papers. 31 boxes times 5 reams! Haha :p

And today, I wasn't going to let the homosapien spoil my Friday, exactly what I keep telling Laogong. Life, too short to be irritated and angry with insignificant people and with things not within our control. So many people don't behave the way we want them to. Heck it. Don't care. If that is the way they chose to behave and respond, let it be :)

I headed to Chanel after Class 1 to be disappointed. JY, Baby and I already have that series of slippers. Sad. No new footwear added to collection. Well, so I settled for pearls :p

Classes 2, 3 & 4 were fine and well! Devilz and 38z here I come! See you all @ 'HQ' soon!

Left house as usual at 0840. Kids' mum text to postpone 0930 lesson to 1000. Advantage of my non-peak hour class is flexibility. Headed to Tiong Bahru Plaza for Breky.

Eggs overloaded this week. Oops!

I've to admit, I bit off sides. Ate centre parts with butter only :p

With a good cup if coffee, I'm ready to go! :)

Alarmed rang at 0800 and Laogong asked me to sleep in while he goes for his class. Initially, my plan was to tag along :p having chatted with JY till late, I gave in and slept in. Till 1000!

Enjoyed the morning with my book, newspaper and TV. Nice :)

It's is reality that Moomoo is going back. Was talking to Sandra about it. "No choice one."

And so, we shall just enjoy the last few days with Moomoo. Rest another hour and shall go to the centre to prepare for the day's lesson :)

Ya ... The owner somehow can bring it back now.
We don't know why or what has happened but we are all sad to see Moomoo go.
You see, (no offence, Bryan), pets should never be a gift.
There are lots of criteria, understanding and commitment to being a pet owner.
Responsibility as well.
Sigh. Hopefully Moomoo doesn't have to be hidden and can be seen and has a proper cage.
We actually saw a nice "3storey" cage which we thought can buy for her.
Just like that one Sandra has for her then-baby meow.
Now, we hope Moomoo has a permanent home, will be well fed and well taken care of.
We will treasure the last few days with her ...
